As we approach the upcoming school year, it's time to start thinking about early education and kindergarten registration. MES offers early education programming for children ages 2-4, and we encourage families to explore their options to ensure a smooth transition into school. Below are the details on how to sign up for early education screenings and express interest in kindergarten enrollment.
Early Education Screening (Ages 2-4)
MES provides early education opportunities, and some children may qualify for free support services. If you are interested, follow these steps to begin the process:

- Michelle Hoy will contact you in April to schedule a screening appointment.
Screenings help determine eligibility for additional early education services, so we encourage all families with young children to participate.
Kindergarten Interest Form
If your child will be attending kindergarten next year, you can complete the Kindergarten Interest Form to receive important updates about registration. Please note:
- Completing the form does not register your child for kindergarten but ensures you receive a reminder when registration opens.
- Early registration is important as class lists are determined based on student needs, class capacity, staffing, and parent preferences.
- Late registrations (especially in August) may limit availability in your preferred class.
